Transparent, Sprayable Plastic Films for Luminescent Down‐Shifted‐Assisted Plant Growth
Spreading the light: A modular approach to down‐shifting europium‐containing polyoxotitanium luminescent cages is developed, allowing their incorporation into sprayable plastic coatings on agricultural greenhouses for accelerated plant growth. Abstract The world's steadily growing population and global heating due to climate change are a threat to food

This study presents S‐coordinated Cu single‐atom nanozymes (Cu/CNS) fabricated via mild photocatalytic self‐assembly strategy. The nanozyme exhibits exceptional multi‐enzyme activity and near‐perfect antimicrobial efficacy. Incorporated into chitosan‐gelatin film, it enables pH‐responsive, broad‐spectrum fruit preservation, more than doubling the shelf‐

Effect of ozone treatment on the phenylpropanoid biosynthesis of postharvest strawberries
Ozone treatment at a suitable concentration can improve the antioxidant capacity of postharvest fruits. However, few studies have examined the antioxidant bioactive compounds in ozone-treated postharvest strawberries, especially in relation to proteomics.

Efficient Preservation of Perishable Fruits by Erasable Metal‐Organic Frameworks
This study presents an erasable Pickering emulsion‐based coating stabilized by metal‐organic frameworks. This washable coating significantly extends fruit shelf life by scavenging ethylene and inhibiting foodborne pathogens, offering a sustainable solution for postharvest.

Resistance status of the carmine spider mite, Tetranychus cinnabarinus and the twospotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae to selected acaricides on strawberries. [PDF]
The carmine spider mite, Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) and the twospotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, are serious pests of strawberries and many other horticultural crops.

Pollination by wild bees yields larger strawberries than pollination by honey bees
1. A diverse array of wild bee species may provide more effective pollination than the widely employed European honey bee (Apis mellifera L.). High species richness within crop pollinator assemblages has been linked to enhanced fruit and seed yields, but

This study uncovered a dual‐track mechanism by which ADAMTS9‐AS2 overcame chemoresistance in CRPC: suppressing cancer stemness through the FOXF2/TGF‐β2 pathway, and triggering ferroptosis via competitive SLC7A11 sequestration. Polymeric materials co‐targeting these vulnerabilities further boost docetaxel sensitivity, highlighting a compelling strategy ...
