Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) harbors high molecular heterogeneity. Using a new liquid biopsy assay, SCLC subtypes can be identified by measuring mRNA of subtype transcription factors (ASCL1, POU2F3, and NEUROD1) in exosome‐rich extracellular vesicles. Combining with Delta‐like ligand 3 (DLL3) mRNA in exosomes and its membrane protein in extracellular ...

Tomato chlorosis virus (ToCV) infection induces production of neophytadiene, a volatile resulting from chlorophyll degradation that is highly attractive to whiteflies. OBP2, an odorant‐binding protein from insect vector B. tabaci, exhibits a strong binding affinity for neophytadiene.

Neutrophils play a role in the immunopathology SARS‐CoV‐2 infection by triggering the formation of NETs, producing cytokines including interleukin‐8 (CXCL8), and mediating the recruitment of other immune cells to regulate inflammation, which can lead to ARDS.

Controlled Film Flow in Granulation of Metals for the Development of Amorphous Superhard and Functionally Unique New Materials [PDF]
The problem of granulation is very bright by the granulated materials, as well as by their application. In the paper, some history of the granulation problem during over century and modern applications of the metallic granulates and amorphous materials are given at the beginning. Then the specific own granulation problem is presented, which has concern

This study has identified lncRNA‐MEG3 as a key regulator of muscle mass, promoting slow‐twitch muscle fibers and preventing muscle atrophy. By stabilizing the SUZ12/PRC2 complex through liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS), lncRNA‐MEG3 influences mitochondrial function and lipid metabolism.

Engineering current collectors for advanced alkali metal anodes: A review and perspective
Rational choice of current collectors plays a key role for successful operation of alkali metal batteries (AMBs). In this paper, fundamentals of alkali metal deposition on current collectors as well as recent advancements on designing functional metal and carbon‐based current collectors are reviewed.

Lifting a granular box by a half-buried rod [PDF]
We studied an interesting experiment that showed a half-buried chopstick lifting a full bottle of granules off the table. In Janssen theory, the friction force provided by the container wall helps alleviate the weight of the granules. How can a thin rod with a much less contact area support the full weight plus that of the container?

A machine‐learning approach is presented to characterize ferromagnetic LSMO thin films by featurizing their surface morphology. Through an ensemble model, the non‐linear correlations between surface morphology and the electric/magnetic properties of LSMO thin films are successfully captured.
