Improving the Performance and Endurance of Persistent Memory with Loose-Ordering Consistency
Persistent memory provides high-performance data persistence at main memory. Memory writes need to be performed in strict order to satisfy storage consistency requirements and enable correct recovery from system crashes. Unfortunately, adhering to such a

Carbon Nanotube 3D Integrated Circuits: From Design to Applications
As Moore's law approaches its physical limits, carbon nanotube (CNT) 3D integrated circuits (ICs) emerge as a promising alternative due to the miniaturization, high mobility, and low power consumption. CNT 3D ICs in optoelectronics, memory, and monolithic ICs are reviewed while addressing challenges in fabrication, design, and integration.

Chiral Magnetic Memory Device at the 10 Nm Scale Using Self‐Assembly Nano Floret Electrodes
A 10 nm chiral magnetic memory device is fabricated using self‐assembled gold Nano Floret (Au‐NF) junction. Chiral molecules are adsorbed along with 10 nm super‐paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs), resulting in a 10 nm memory bit. Additionally, a new method for determining the molecular tilt angle of chiral monolayer assembly is presented by

STT-RAM memory hierarchy designs aimed to performance, reliability and energy consumption [PDF]
Current applications demand larger on-chip memory capacity since off-chip memory accesses be-come a bottleneck. However, if we want to achieve this by scaling down the transistor size of SRAM-based Last-Level Caches (LLCs) it may become prohibitive in ...

Tailoring of Creep Regime Domain Wall Dynamics in Perpendicularly Magnetized Pd/Co/Pd Trilayers
Understanding magnetic domain wall (DW) dynamics is vital for improving the performance of heavy‐metal/ferromagnet‐based spintronic devices. This work manifests a fundamental investigation encompassing structural properties and magnetic DW motion in Pd/Co/Pd multilayers having perpendicular magnetic anisotropy.

Local structure maturation in high entropy oxide (Mg,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn)1‐x(Cr,Mn)xO thin films
Abstract High entropy oxides (HEOs) have garnered much interest due to their available high degree of tunability. Here, we study the local structure of (MgNiCuCoZn)0.167(MnCr)0.083O, a composition based on the parent HEO (MgNiCuCoZn)0.2O. We synthesized a series of thin films via pulsed laser deposition at incremental oxygen partial pressures.

Multi-port Memory Design for Advanced Computer Architectures [PDF]
In this thesis, we describe and evaluate novel memory designs for multi-port on-chip and off-chip use in advanced computer architectures. We focus on combining multi-porting and evaluating the performance over a range of design parameters.
