“METH mouth” is a common consequence of chronic methamphetamine (METH) use, resulting in tooth decay and painful oral tissue inflammation that can progress to complete tooth loss. METH reduces the amount of saliva in the mouth, promoting bacterial growth,

Salt-induced gelation of nonionic sucrose ester dispersions [PDF]
The dispersions of nonionic sucrose ester surfactants in water exhibit a highly negative zeta-potential, though its origin remains controversial. The addition of electrolytes to these dispersions may influence their zeta-potential, thus potentially affecting their physicochemical properties.

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

How does the presence of stevia glycosides impact surface bubbles stability? [PDF]
The addition of sweeteners in fizzy beverages not only affects the sugar content but also the bubbles stability. In this article, we propose a model experiment, in which the lifetime of hundreds of single bubbles is measured, to assess the stability of bubbles in solutions containing either sucrose or sweeteners.

Sucrose ester micellar-mediated synthesis of Ag nanoparticles and the antibacterial properties [PDF]
Ag nanoparticles with diameter in the range of 10–25 nm had been synthesized using a simple sucrose ester micellar-mediated method. Ag nanoparticles were formed by adding AgNO3 solution into the sucrose ester micellar solution containing sodium hydroxide

Sucrose transporter2 contributes to maize growth, development, and crop yield.
During daylight, plants produce excess photosynthates, including sucrose, which is temporarily stored in the vacuole. At night, plants remobilize sucrose to sustain metabolism and growth.
