Correlation between receptive vocabulary skill, syntactic awareness, and word writing

open access: yesRevista CEFAC
Purpose: to verify the correlation between receptive vocabulary, syntactic awareness, and single-word orthographic writing tests. Methods: a total of 42 third graders from elementary public schools, of both genders, aged 8 to 9 years, participated in ...

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

Dificuldades no desenvolvimento da lectoescrita: o papel das habilidades metalingüísticas

open access: yesPsicologia: Teoria e Pesquisa
Este estudo investigou a relação entre habilidades metalingüísticas (consciência fonológica e sintática) e desempenho na leitura e na escrita (ortografia) de palavras isoladas.

A Linguistics-Aware LLM Watermarking via Syntactic Predictability

open access: yesProceedings of the 64th Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (Volume 1: Long Papers)
As large language models (LLMs) continue to advance rapidly, reliable governance tools have become critical. Publicly verifiable watermarking is particularly essential for fostering a trustworthy AI ecosystem. A central challenge persists: balancing text quality against detection robustness.

LLM‐Integrated Human–Robot Interaction System for Microrobots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This paper proposes an LLM‐based control framework for guiding microrobots using human natural language. This framework can convert the natural human speech into safe and executable command sets for reliable navigation in complex environments. The experimental results show high accuracy and robustness in task performance, demonstrating the potential of

Metalinguistic Awareness of Multilingual First Graders: An Exploratory Study

open access: yesEnglish Language Teaching Educational Journal, 2020
This study, which utilized a modified metalinguistic awareness test adopted from Dita’s (2009), probed on young children’s metalinguistic awareness in identifying syntactic errors; determining sounds and the use of phonological segments; and ...

Written narrative of students with and without difficulty in syntactic awareness

open access: yesJournal of Human Growth and Development, 2020
Introduction: Syntactic awareness is a metalinguistic ability defined as the child’s ability to reflect on formal processes relating to the organization of words in sentences and to manipulate them. This skill is still little explored in the context of school learning, and its importance in the school learning process of Portuguese-speaking children is

CLRe: A Synergistic Dual‐Engine Framework for One‐Step Retrosynthesis Prediction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CLRe uses a contrastive difficulty score to order pretrained seq2seq fine‐tuning for retrosynthesis. Reaction embeddings define the ranking score, and a cumulative easy‐to‐hard schedule expands from the easiest subset to the full training set while earlier examples remain active.

qcGEM: A Graph‐Based Molecular Representation With Quantum Chemistry Awareness

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, we introduce qcGEM, a quantum‐chemistry‐aware graph‐based embedding of molecules that incorporates physical priors into molecular representation learning. Through a specially designed model architecture to adequately process quantum chemistry information as well as three‐dimensional molecular geometry, qcGEM provides a compact, physics ...
