Toxicokinetics of tabun enantiomers in anaesthetized swine after intravenous tabun administration
Toxicology Letters, 2010In the present study, we report the first in vivo toxicokinetic study of tabun (O-ethyl-N,N-dimethylphosphoramidocyanidate). The toxicokinetics of the enantiomers of tabun were investigated in anesthetized swine after intravenous administration of 3xLD(50) (161.4mug/kg) tabun.

Toxogonin in Sarin, Soman and Tabun poisoning
Biochemical Pharmacology, 1965The oximes P2S, TMB-4 and Toxogonin have been tested as reactivators of Sarin and Tabun inhibited acetylcholinesterase. The protective effect of the oximes has been studied on atropinized mice in experimental Sarin, Soman and Tabun poisoning. Toxogonin is a better reactivator than P2S and comparable to TMB-4. In the presence of 10 mg/kg atropine (i.p.)

Effective bisquaternary reactivators of tabun‐inhibited AChE
Journal of Applied Toxicology, 2005AbstractTwo cholinesterase reactivators (K074 and K075) were synthesized and their reactivation efficacy against tabun‐inhibited acetylcholinesterase of the rat brain was tested in vitro. Comparing this efficacy showed that commonly used oximes (pralidoxim, obidoxime and HI‐6) were practically without reactivation potency.

Genotoxicity of the phosphoramidate agent tabun (GA)
Toxicology, 1994Five mutagenicity tests were performed on Agent GA (Tabun, phosphoramidocyanidic acid, dimethyl-, ethyl ester) as part of a program to demilitarize chemical warfare agents. GA was mutagenic in Salmonella spp. assays with S-9 and it was a direct-acting mutagen to mouse lymphoma cells.

Tabun scavengers based on hydroxamic acid containing cyclodextrins
Chemical Communications, 2013Arrangement of several hydroxamic acid-derived substituents along the cavity of a cyclodextrin ring leads to compounds that detoxify tabun in TRIS-HCl buffer at physiological pH and 37.0 °C with half-times as low as 3 min.
