Anti-inflammatory Activity of Tanshinone-Related Diterpenes from Perovskia artemisioides Roots
Perovskia artemisioides is a perennial and aromatic plant widely distributed in the Baluchestan region of Iran. Phytochemical analysis of a n-hexane extract of P. artemisioides roots, guided by an analytical approach based on LC-ESI/LTQOrbitrap/MS/MS, yielded six previously undescribed diterpenoid compounds (2, 9-11, 16, and 20), and 19 known ...

Three 11,12-seco-tanshinone derivatives from the rhizomes of Salvia miltiorrhiza
Three new compounds named tanshinoic acid A (1), tanshinoic acid B (2), and tanshinoic acid C (3) were isolated from the rhizomes of Salvia miltiorrhiza, together with two known compounds methyl salvianolate A (4) and methyl salvianolate C (5). Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic data (UV, IR, HRESIMS, 1 D and 2 D NMR).
