DESIGN OF BAJAKAH ROOT CHOPPING MACHINE INTO TEA POWDER

open access: yesAUSTENIT, 2023
Tea (camellia sinensis) is one type of plant that is often found as a processed beverage. There are several raw materials for making tea that are often used including using leaves, shoots, flowers, and roots. One of the teas made from roots is bajakah root tea where the manufacturing process is still done in the traditional way, namely chopped using a ...

A Proline‐Integrated Donor–Acceptor Fluorophore: Water‐Vapor‐Responsive Mechanochromic Luminescence and Latent Fingerprint Visualization

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A proline‐integrated donor–acceptor fluorophore enables multifunctional luminescence through rational molecular design. Water‐vapor‐responsive mechanochromic luminescence (MCL) with circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) switching and efficient visualization of latent fingerprints (LFPs) are realized from this single small organic molecule.

DIFFERENCES IN ALUMINIUM CONTENT OF VARIOUS TEA POWDERS (BLACK, GREEN, HERBAL, FRUIT) AND TEA INFUSIONS

open access: yesEuropean chemical bulletin, 2012
Trace elements play an important role in human health. Some trace elements are essential, but some are harmful – especially in higher concentrations. Aluminum is not considered as an essential element for human beings, but has, in contrary, been correlated with various human pathologies for example Dementia, Parkinson and Alzheimer disease.

Sex‐Specific Regulation of Glycemic Homeostasis by Theabrownin from Pu‐erh Tea

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pu‐erh tea's key component, theabrownin (TB), lowers blood glucose in a sex‐specific manner. In females, estrogen boosts intestinal MUC2 production, which dramatically enhances TB's ability to inhibit the carbohydrate‐digesting enzyme α‐glucosidase.

Nanocurvature‐Activated Dipolar Polarization in M–N4 Single‐Atom Sites for High‐Performance Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Increasing nanocurvature effectively enriches the local electron density of the M–N4 motif, which facilitates electron transfer from the metal center to nitrogen atoms. This electronic behavior intensifies the localization and asymmetric distribution of charge, thereby significantly amplifying the dipole moment and polarizability.

Efficient Electrocatalytic Conversion of CO2 to Pure Formic Acid Solutions via Strain‐Engineered Bismuth Nanosheets

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tensile‐strained bismuth nanosheets (TS‐BiNs) achieve a formate Faradaic efficiency of 92% at −1000 mA cm−2 and enable stable production of pure formic acid (HCOOH) in a solid‐state electrolyte reactor. Theoretical calculations reveal that the introduced strain lowers the energy barrier for *OCHO intermediate formation, fundamentally enhancing the ...
