Introduction of robot‐assisted obstetric ultrasound in rural Northern Norway

Robot‐assisted ultrasound is a method becoming available as a diagnostic tool worldwide. Robot‐assisted technology gives the obstetrician the ability to control an ultrasound probe from an expert site and perform an ultrasound examination at a remote site, where the patient and midwife are.
