Sliding Mode and Terminal Sliding Mode Control of Cascaded Doubly Fed Induction Generator
Classical structure of Doubly Fed Induction Generators (DFIGs) is not completely adapted in high-speed regions due to their brushes and slip rings. So in the Cascaded DFIGs (CDFIGs), the rotor windings of a given DFIG are supplied by another wound rotor ...

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Fin stabilizer control strategy based on adaptive sliding mode
Ships are typically equipped with fin stabilizers to effectively weaken ship’s roll and enhance the voyage's safety. To achieve better anti-roll performance, this study proposes an adaptive sliding mode control (SMC) method for a roll reduction ...

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Finite time tracking control of mobile robot based on non-singular fast terminal sliding mode
To solve the tracking problem of mobile robot, a hybrid control algorithm based on back-stepping control and non-singular fast terminal sliding mode control is proposed in this paper. The algorithm not only ensures the pose tracking of the robot but also

Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
