The Effect of the Gem‐Dimethyl Unit in the Gold‐Catalyzed Cycloisomerization of Aliphatic 1‐Bromoalkynes

The conformational effect of the gem‐dimethyl motif and its isostere cyclopropane unit in the gold‐catalyzed cycloisomerization of aliphatic 1‐bromoalkynes has been studied. An unexpected inhibitory effect of the cyclopropane ring has been observed.

Effect of Fruit Maturation Stage on the Chemical Composition and Antioxidant and Cytotoxic Activities of Piper nigrum Essential Oil

The essential oils of Piper nigrum show marked chemical and biological variation across fruit maturation stages.
