La filière du chanvre industriel, éléments de compréhension macroéconomiques

open access: yesOilseeds and fats, crops and lipids, 2015
La filière du chanvre industriel est d’une dimension économique faible, sans être dans le champ de la microéconomie. Fournisseuse de fibres, de granulats végétaux (la chènevotte), de graines oléagineuses et de protéines, elle a dû au ...

Synthese Pyridin-analoger Tetrahydrocannabinol / Synthesis of Pyridine-analogous Tetrahydrocannabinols

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung B, 1979
Abstract Starting from 4-methylpyridine a 3-aza-Δ8 -tetrahydrocannabinol-analogous (2d) was prepared. The reaction sequence also includes the first synthesis of a 6 H-benzo(4,5)-pyrano(2,3-c)-pyridin-6-on, a novel ring-system. The proposed structures were supported by spectroscopic data (1 H NMR, IR, MS).

Development of Tunable Materials From Well‐Defined Alendronic Acid Functionalized Polyacrylamide: An Opportunity for Actinide Decontamination

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Alendronate‐based copolymers for Nd and Ce recovery. ABSTRACT Bisphosphonic acid groups are emerging as promising functionalities for actinide decontamination, due to their high density of chelating sites. However, the chemistry of bisphosphonate (in particular alendronate) materials remains complex and underexplored.

Negative symptoms as key features of depression among cannabis users: a preliminary report. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
OBJECTIVE: Cannabis use is frequent among depressed patients and may lead to the so-called "amotivational syndrome", which combines symptoms of affective flattening and loss of emotional reactivity (i.e. the so-called "negative" symptomatology). The aim

Amyloid proteotoxicity initiates an inflammatory response blocked by cannabinoids. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The beta amyloid (Aβ) and other aggregating proteins in the brain increase with age and are frequently found within neurons. The mechanistic relationship between intracellular amyloid, aging and neurodegeneration is not, however, well understood.

Illicit Drug‐Derived Volatile Organic Compounds as Markers for Application in Noncontact Detection Technology

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
This review highlights the characteristic odor markers of illicit drugs, emphasizing volatile markers from both natural and synthetic sources, and explores the shift from canine‐based detection to emerging noncontact sensing technologies. Illicit drug use remains a global concern, requiring effective detection methods to counter evolving concealment ...

Incidents of sudden death during restraint of agitated individuals in Sweden between 1992 and 2024

open access: yesJournal of Forensic Sciences, EarlyView.
Abstract Restraint‐related sudden deaths in agitated individuals raise complex questions at the intersection of medicine and law. Hyperactive delirium with extreme agitation as well as positional asphyxia due to restraint have been proposed to account for these deaths. However, the exact physiological mechanisms responsible and to what extent restraint
