Effect of Processing on Flavour Precursors, Pyrazines and Flavour Quality of Malaysian Cocoa Beans [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
Studies were conducted to determine the effect of processing (fermentation, drying and roasting) on flavour precursors and pyrazines concentration of cocoa beans and its flavour quality evaluation. Fermentation was carried out in a rotary drum reactor

Effect of Heat Treatment on the Flavor Characteristics of Vacuum Freeze‐Dried Pacific White Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei)

open access: yeseFood, Volume 7, Issue 2, April 2026.
A post‐freeze‐drying heat treatment at 150°C optimizes shrimp flavor by boosting umami compounds and generating roasted aromas via the Maillard reaction. This strategy successfully bridges the texture‐flavor trade‐off, enabling premium ready‐to‐eat shrimp products.

Tetramethylpyrazine and paeoniflorin combination (TMP-PF) alleviates atherosclerosis progress by reducing hyperlipemia and inhibiting plaque angiogenesis via the NR4A1/VEGFR2 pathway

open access: yesFood Science and Human Wellness
Atherosclerosis remains a great threat to human health worldwide. Previous studies found that tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) and paeonif lorin (PF) combination (TMP-PF) exerts anti-atherosclerotic effects in vitro.

Inclusion of tetramethylpyrazine in channels of the organic zeolite 2,4,6-tris(4-bromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
2,4,6-tris(4-bromophenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine (BrPOT) features a channel size (11-12Å) allowing the inclusion of large guest molecules such as tetramethylpyrazine (TMPZ). TMPZ forms π-stacks (d: 3.5Å) along channels of BrPOT and shows rotational disorder for

Antiinflammatory Effects of Tetramethylpyrazine and Ferulic Acid.

open access: yesChemical and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, 1992
Tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) is one of the alkaloids contained in Ligusticum wallichii Franch (L. wallichii). Ferulic acid (FA) is a phenolic compound contained in L. wallichii and Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels (A. sinensis). The present study was carried out to examine the antiinflammatory effect and to elucidate the mode of the effect of TMP and FA ...

Crystal Engineering of Reticular Materials for Gas‐ and Liquid‐Phase Hydrocarbon Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 16, 17 March 2026.
Crystal engineering enables systematic study of structure/function relationships as exemplified by pore engineering of reticular sorbents, including porous coordination networks and covalent organic frameworks. This review assesses such studies applied across the full scope of industrially relevant hydrocarbon separations to provide insight into how ...
