Therapeutic tumor neoantigen vaccines have been widely studied given their good safety profile and ability to avoid central thymic tolerance. However, targeting antigen‐presenting cells (APCs) and inducing robust neoantigen‐specific cellular immunity ...

Therapeutic vaccination against HIV
The challenge for an immunotherapeutic vaccine is to increase antiviral responses in an increasingly immunocompromised host and to provide immunity to epitopes that have been neglected by the infected host. Therapeutic vaccination with structural and regulatory genes and proteins of HIV are reviewed. The most promising clinical results consist of short-

Adult‐Onset Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis Presenting With Subacute Cognitive Deficits
ABSTRACT We describe the case of a 41‐year‐old man diagnosed with adult‐onset subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE). The patient presented with subacute progressive cognitive deficits and a neuropsychological profile indicating predominant frontoparietal dysfunction. MRI showed only mild parietal‐predominant cerebral atrophy.

Nanomaterial-based delivery vehicles for therapeutic cancer vaccine development
Nanomaterial-based delivery vehicles such as lipid-based, polymer-based, inorganics-based, and bio-inspired vehicles often carry distinct and attractive advantages in the development of therapeutic cancer vaccines.

Aims We investigated whether a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects the quality of inpatient acute myocardial infarction (AMI) care and long‐term mortality post‐AMI. Methods We analysed data from 784,091 adults, 6,047 with a diagnosis of RA, from England and Wales hospitalised with AMI between 2005 and 2019 from the MINAP registry, linked ...

Immunogenicity of targeted lentivectors [PDF]
To increase the safety and possibly efficacy of HIV-1 derived lentivectors (LVs) as an anti-cancer vaccine, we recently developed the Nanobody (Nb) display technology to target LVs to antigen presenting cells (APCs).
