Analytical and Experimental Studies of Rapid Cloth Drying for Technological Innovation
This paper presents analytical and experimental studies of a rapid cloth drying process. The mathematical models are developed from mass diffusion of wet clothes under hot and dry air conditions There are three critical factors: air temperature, air ...

Effect of heterogenous and homogenous air gaps on dry heat loss through the garment [PDF]
In real life conditions, the trapped air between the human body and the garment has uneven shape and vary over the body parts as a consequence of the complex geometry of the human body. However, the existing clothing models assume uniform air layer between the human body and the garment or its full contact, which may cause large error in the output of ...

The effect of air flow on drying fodder on drying systems
Drying grass fodder in Europe’s Alpine countries is becoming increasingly important due to positive effects on the fatty acid composition of milk. A proper approach and technology of fodder drying can raise its quality to the level of grass silage.

Impingement and Through Air Drying of Paper
ABSTRACT Air drying of paper by pure impingement, pure through flow and by combination of impingement and through flow was studied. For the combined process the inlet and bath outlet air flow rates were held constant throughout drying, thereby providing resulls appropriate for analysis of the complex and interacting kinetics.

Enhancing Hot Air Drying Efficiency through Electrostatic Field–Ultrasonic Coupling Pretreatment
The drying of compact and biologically active materials presents significant challenges. In this study, we propose using electrostatic field–ultrasonic coupling pretreatment to enhance the drying efficiency of ginkgo fruits. We designed and constructed an experimental device to investigate the effects of ultrasonic power, pretreatment time, hot air ...

Study on low-temperature drying characteristics of premodified sludge with calcium oxide and sawdust
Heat pump drying is a low-carbon and energy-saving sludge drying method. The operating temperature of heat pump is generally no more than 70 ℃. In order to improve the drying rate of sludge at low-temperature, the effects of air parameters and additives ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.
