Studies on Leukemia in the C3Hf Strain of Mice I. Origin, Transmission and Morphology of Spontaneous Lymphatic Leukemia [PDF]

open access: yes, 1962
The ongm and characteristics in transmission and morphology of spontaneous lymphatic leukemia in a low-leukemic strain C3Hf have been described. The leukemia line is being currently subjected to a vigorous search for the presence of a filtrable leukemia ...

Involvement of the thymus by metastatic neoplasms. [PDF]

open access: yesBritish Journal of Cancer, 1966
A series of autopsy thymuses was collected and studied for incidence of metastatic carcinoma. Contrary to present views, metastatic deposits of carcinoma selectively localised in the islands of thymic tissue were observed. The incidence of involvement of the thymus by proliferative disorders of the lympho-reticular system in the series is recorded.

An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.

CDK4/6 Inhibition Induces CD8+ T Cell Antitumor Immunity via MIF‐Induced Functional Orchestration of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.

Long Non-Coding RNAs in the Cell Fate Determination of Neoplastic Thymic Epithelial Cells

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2022
Thymic Epithelial Tumors (TETs) arise from epithelial cells of the thymus and are very rare neoplasms comprising Thymoma, Thymic carcinoma, and Thymic Neuroendocrine tumors that still require in-depth molecular characterization.

Malignant lymphomas in transplantation patients: a review of the world experience. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1970
Malignant lymphomas developed in 9 renal homograft recipients treated at widely separated transplantation centers. The development of these tumors appears to be an indirect complication of organ transplantation and/or the measures taken to prevent ...

Cytology of Primary Salivary Gland-Type Tumors of the Lower Respiratory Tract: Report of 15 Cases and Review of the Literature. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Primary pulmonary salivary gland-type tumors are rare neoplasms arising from the seromucinous submucosal glands of the lower respiratory tract (LRT), the most common of which are mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) and adenoid cystic carcinoma.

NUDT21 Drives T‐Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Through Dual Regulation of Alternative Polyadenylation and Transcriptional Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In summary, our study defines a coordinated oncogenic model in which NUDT21 integrates alternative polyadenylation–dependent UBE2D3 stabilization and transcriptional activation to sustain MYC‐driven T‐ALL cell survival, thereby establishing NUDT21 as a central regulatory node and a promising therapeutic target.
