The AUTACE That Degrades KRAS and Engages CD8+ T Cells for the Treatment of KRAS/TP53 Co‐Mutant Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AUTACE is a bifunctional nanoplatform that integrates tumor targeting, immune engagement, and on‐demand KRAS degradation. It targets KRAS/TP53 co‐mutant tumors via TP53‐specific TCRs, elicits antitumor CD8+ T‐cell responses through surface anti‐CD3 antibodies, and uses low‐intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) to trigger controlled release of the KRAS ...

Toll-like receptor 2 confers partial neuroprotection during prion disease.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
Neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration are common during prion infection, but the mechanisms that underlie these pathological features are not well understood. Several components of innate immunity, such as Toll-like receptor (TLR) 4 and Complement C1q,

Decoding IGLL5 Mutation‐Mediated BCR Signaling: A Novel Mechanism of CD8+ T Cell Exhaustion and Ocular MALT Lymphoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
OAML harbors recurrent IGLL5 mutations that reinforce CD79A/CD79B‐associated BCR signaling. Mechanistic analysis of the S47G and A54G variants reveals induction of CXCL10/CXCL11, enhanced CD8+ T‐cell recruitment, and exhaustion‐associated dysfunction, supporting an immune‐tolerant niche.

EXPRESSION OF TOLL LIKE RECEPTOR 2 AND TOLL LIKE RECEPTOR 4 IN CHRONIC PERIODONTITIS BY INDIRECT IMMUNOFLUROSCENCE

open access: yesInternational Journal of Clinical and Biomedical Research, 2016
Aim: The aim of the present study was to analyze the expression level and localization of Toll-like receptor 2 and Toll-like receptor 4 in gingival samples of healthy and chronic periodontitis subjects by indirect immunofluorescence technique. Methods: Gingival tissue samples were obtained from 25 healthy individuals and 25 chronic periodontitis ...

Macrophage immunomodulation by breast cancer-derived exosomes requires Toll-like receptor 2-mediated activation of NF-κB

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2014
Growing evidence links tumor progression with chronic inflammatory processes and dysregulated activity of various immune cells. In this study, we demonstrate that various types of macrophages internalize microvesicles, called exosomes, secreted by breast

Circular RNA circNrip1 Interacts with SYNCRIP to Promote Neuropathic Pain by Stabilizing Tlr2 mRNA in Primary Sensory Neurons

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Model of circNrip1 (cNrip1) upregulation driving neuropathic pain mechanisms. After peripheral nerve injury, increased FUS triggers the formation and upregulation of cNrip1 in injured DRG neurons. Upregulated cNrip1 recruits SYNCRIP to the 3′‐UTR of Tlr2 mRNA by binding to both, thereby promoting SYNCRIP‐triggered Tlr2 mRNA stability and increasing ...

Androgen Receptor‐Induced Lactoferrin Accelerates Prostate Tumorigenesis Through Modulating Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that transcription factor androgen receptor (AR) directly binds the LF promoter, driving lactoferrin overexpression to promote ferritin (FTH1/FTL) upregulation and inhibit p53‐ALOX12‐mediated ferroptosis in prostate cancer. Lactoferrin could be a new potential therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

Preventing Peritoneal Dialysis-Associated Fibrosis by Therapeutic Blunting of Peritoneal Toll-Like Receptor Activity

open access: yesFrontiers in Physiology, 2018
Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is an essential daily life-saving treatment for end-stage renal failure. PD therapy is limited by peritoneal inflammation, which leads to peritoneal membrane failure as a result of progressive fibrosis.

Cutting edge: inflammatory signaling by Borrelia burgdorferi lipoproteins is mediated by toll-like receptor 2.

open access: yesJournal of Immunology, 1999
The agent of Lyme disease, Borrelia burgdorferi, produces membrane lipoproteins possessing potent inflammatory properties linked to disease pathology. The recent association of toll-like receptors (TLR) 2 and 4 with LPS responses prompted the examination
