Kolaviron shows anti-proliferative effect and down regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor-C and toll like receptor-2 in Wuchereria bancrofti infected blood lymphocytes

open access: yesJournal of Infection and Public Health, 2017
The anti-proliferative effect and down regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor C and toll like receptor-2 by kolaviron on Wuchereria bancrofti infected peripheral blood lymphocytes were investigated.

The role of Toll-like receptors in skin diseases [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The innate immune system has the ability to recognize pathogens through Toll-like receptors (TLRs), which are transmembrane glycoproteins on the cell surface.

The AUTACE That Degrades KRAS and Engages CD8+ T Cells for the Treatment of KRAS/TP53 Co‐Mutant Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AUTACE is a bifunctional nanoplatform that integrates tumor targeting, immune engagement, and on‐demand KRAS degradation. It targets KRAS/TP53 co‐mutant tumors via TP53‐specific TCRs, elicits antitumor CD8+ T‐cell responses through surface anti‐CD3 antibodies, and uses low‐intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) to trigger controlled release of the KRAS ...

Association between polymorphisms in the genes encoding toll-like receptors and dectin-1 and susceptibility to invasive aspergillosis: a systematic review

open access: yesRevista da Sociedade Brasileira de Medicina Tropical
Invasive aspergillosis is a common fungal infection in immunocompromised individuals. Some studies have shown that toll-like receptor and dectin-1 genetic polymorphisms may alter signaling pathways, thus increasing an individual’s susceptibility to ...

Decoding IGLL5 Mutation‐Mediated BCR Signaling: A Novel Mechanism of CD8+ T Cell Exhaustion and Ocular MALT Lymphoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
OAML harbors recurrent IGLL5 mutations that reinforce CD79A/CD79B‐associated BCR signaling. Mechanistic analysis of the S47G and A54G variants reveals induction of CXCL10/CXCL11, enhanced CD8+ T‐cell recruitment, and exhaustion‐associated dysfunction, supporting an immune‐tolerant niche.

KMRC011, an agonist of toll-like receptor 5, mitigates irradiation-induced tissue damage and mortality in cynomolgus monkeys

open access: yesJournal of Immunotoxicology, 2020
In the study here, the potential applicability of KMRC011 - an agonist of toll-like receptor-5 – as a countermeasure for radiation toxicities was evaluated.

Common Variants of TLR1 Associate with Organ Dysfunction and Sustained Pro- Inflammatory Responses during Sepsis

open access: yes, 2010
Background: Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are critical components for host pathogen recognition and variants in genes participating in this response influence susceptibility to infections.

Receptor-like kinases and pathogen-associated molecular patterns perception in Arabidopsis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Comparable to the innate immune response in mammals and insects, plants possess highly specific and sensitive recognition systems for pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs), such as bacterial flagellin.
