This review examines emerging combination immunotherapy strategies tailored to distinct tumor microenvironments and highlights next‐generation biomarkers that guide response prediction and treatment personalization. It integrates lessons from unsuccessful trials, addresses toxicity challenges, and outlines approaches for early biomarker discovery and ...

Innate immunity mediated by the flagellin receptor FLS2 in Arabidopsis and tomato : a molecular approach to characterize ligand binding and function, using receptor chimeras [PDF]
Flagellin, the major subunit of the bacterial motility organ flagellum is an archetypical elicitor molecule perceived by a variety of plant species (Felix et al., 1999).

Model of circNrip1 (cNrip1) upregulation driving neuropathic pain mechanisms. After peripheral nerve injury, increased FUS triggers the formation and upregulation of cNrip1 in injured DRG neurons. Upregulated cNrip1 recruits SYNCRIP to the 3′‐UTR of Tlr2 mRNA by binding to both, thereby promoting SYNCRIP‐triggered Tlr2 mRNA stability and increasing ...

Differential expression of key regulators of Toll-like receptors in ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease: a role for Tollip and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma? [PDF]
The innate immune system is currently seen as the probable initiator of events which culminate in the development of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with Toll‐like receptors (TLRs) known to be involved in this disease process.

This study demonstrates that transcription factor androgen receptor (AR) directly binds the LF promoter, driving lactoferrin overexpression to promote ferritin (FTH1/FTL) upregulation and inhibit p53‐ALOX12‐mediated ferroptosis in prostate cancer. Lactoferrin could be a new potential therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

A study of the modulation of Toll-like receptor signalling in macrophages by Annexin-1
PhDAnnexin-A1 (AnxA1) is an endogenous anti-inflammatory protein that has been shown to exert a protective role against the lethal effects induced by the Toll-like receptor (TLR) 4 agonist lipopolysaccharide (LPS).

Pseudaminic acid on Campylobacter jejuni flagella modulates dendritic cell IL-10 expression via Siglec-10 receptor: a novel flagellin-host interaction. [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: Campylobacter jejuni is a leading cause of bacterial gastroenteritis worldwide. At present the identity of host-pathogen interactions that promote successful bacterial colonisation remain ill defined.

m6A‐Mediated Glycolysis by IL‐37 Drives T Cell Metabolic Reprogramming to Regulate Colitis
This study identifies an IL‐37/SIGIRR‐METTL14 regulatory axis that suppresses global m6A modification in CD4+ T cells. IL‐37 signaling, mediated through SIGIRR, inhibits IRAK4 and JNK phosphorylation, leading to downregulation of the methyltransferase METTL14.

Toll like receptors play a central role in the recognition of pathogen associated molecular patterns (PAMPs). Mutations in TLR1, TLR2 and TLR4 genes may change the PAMP reorganization ability which causes altered responsiveness to the bacterial pathogens.

Unravelling the anti-inflammatory mechanisms of dietary fatty acids [PDF]
Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) have been shown to modulate immune responses and have therapeutic effects in inflammatory disorders. The specific mechanisms of their actions have yet to be defined.
