Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) remains highly lethal with limited treatment options. This study demonstrates that coixenolide, a bioactive compound from Coix lacryma‐jobi L. and a key component of the clinically approved Kanglaite injection, exhibits enhanced antitumor efficacy in high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced obese mice bearing PAAD tumors compared to

Innate Immunocompetent hiPSC‐Derived Neurospheroids Capture Early CNS Responses to rAAV
Knowledge of human CNS immune responses to AAV‐based gene therapies remains limited due to the lack of immune‐competent human models. Here, a hiPSC‐derived 3D neuroimmune platform integrating neurospheroids and microglia is established using stirred‐tank bioreactors.

Effects of Toll-Like Receptors 3 and 4 in the Osteogenesis of Stem Cells
Objective. To investigate the effects of Toll-like receptors in stem cell osteogenesis. Methods. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) were divided into the blank group, the TLR-3 activated group, and the TLR-4 activated group.

Toll-like receptors in esophageal cancer
Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and esophageal adenocarcinoma are cancers of high mortality. Esophageal adenocarcinoma develops through Barrett’s esophagus and columnar dysplasia, preceded by gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

L‐cysteine‐configured chiral polyurethane nanoparticles suppress ocular inflammation and reduce extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation in ectopia lentis by regulating macrophages polarization and inhibiting nuclear factor kappa B signaling pathway. By promoting zonular fiber‐associated protein restoration and tissue repair, this minimally invasive ...

Toll-like Receptor 4 Modulation as a Strategy to Treat Sepsis
Despite a decrease in mortality over the last decade, sepsis remains the tenth leading causes of death in western countries and one of the most common cause of death in intensive care units.

Selective suppression of Toll‐like receptor 4 activation by chemokine receptor 4
The response of Toll‐like receptor 4 (TLR4) to lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is thought vital for resisting infection. Since aberrant TLR4 signaling may initiate inflammatory conditions such as the sepsis syndrome, we sought a component of normal cells that might provide local control of TLR4 activation.

TOLLIP Inhibits Psoriasis Progression via Suppressing PKM2‐Mediated Glycolysis in Keratinocytes
In this study, we identify TOLLIP as a critical regulator of psoriasis pathogenesis through its modulation of glycolytic metabolism. Our findings establish the TOLLIP‐PKM2‐glycolysis axis as a key mechanism linking metabolic reprogramming to psoriasis pathogenesis, and propose TOLLIP as a promising therapeutic target.

Natural Products with Toll-Like Receptor 4 Antagonist Activity
Toll-Like Receptors (TLRs) are the innate immunity receptors that play an activating role when interacting with molecules released by bacteria and viruses (PAMPs, pathogen-associated molecular patterns) or with molecules released by injured cells and ...
