Harmonic Drive with a Built-in Torque Sensor and Its Application to Torque Control
In this paper, first a method of torque measurement using elasticity contained in harmonic drive system is outlined. This method of torque measurement does not require changing the structure of the driving system nor inserting a new elastic body for torque measurement.

Exploring Curvature Effects in Direct‐Written 3D Curved Hollow Magnetic Nanoshells
Fabricated by a hybrid FEBID/CVD method, 3D PtC/Co3Fe core–shell heterostructures with engineered curvature and shell thickness exhibit complex reversal modes with axially symmetric N'eel‐type domain walls. XMCD‐PEEM combined with full‐scale micromagnetic simulations reveal how curvature and thickness govern the domain wall energy landscape and shape ...

The polymer wall stabilized dye‐doped liquid crystals (PWLCs) enhance the sensitivity of photoinduced molecular reorientation in dye‐doped LC systems. The PWLC with an invisible polymer wall successfully reduces the threshold intensity and functions as an optical limiter under the incidence of low intensity light laser source.
