Tumbling Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted In Vivo Drug Delivery in the GI Tract
We introduce a microrobot design and integrated system for on‐demand targeted drug release in the gastrointestinal tract. The microrobot has an embedded magnet for actuation with external magnetic fields and is visualized in real time using ultrasound. It has two drug release ports sealed with a thermally sensitive wax. Local heating of the wax using a

Toxicological Evaluation of Acetolactate Decarboxylase
The enzyme acetolactate decarboxylase (ALDC), which is used in the fermentation of beer, is produced by Bacillus subtilis containing the structural gene for ALDC production originating from a Bacillus brevis . ALDC and the glutaraldehyde-stabilized ALDC were subjected to a series of toxicological tests to investigate their safety.

Toxicological evaluations of some brominated biphenyls
Extensive toxicological studies were carried out to define the probable hazard of octabromobiphenyl (OBB) to workers, users, and the environment. OBB had low acute toxicity in mammals and birds by various routes of administration. It was essentially non-irritating to rabbit eyes, non-irritating to human skin and caused only mild skin irritation and no ...
