The enzyme acetolactate decarboxylase (ALDC), which is used in the fermentation of beer, is produced by Bacillus subtilis containing the structural gene for ALDC production originating from a Bacillus brevis . ALDC and the glutaraldehyde-stabilized ALDC were subjected to a series of toxicological tests to investigate their safety.

This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.
