Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Multiple Object Trajectory Estimation Using Backward Simulation [PDF]
This paper presents a general solution for computing the multi-object posterior for sets of trajectories from a sequence of multi-object (unlabelled) filtering densities and a multi-object dynamic model. Importantly, the proposed solution opens an avenue

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

On simulating and predicting pedestrian trajectories in a crowd
Crowds of people are gathering at multiple venues, such as concerts, political rallies, as well as in commercial malls, or just simply walking on the streets. More and more people are flocking to live in urban areas, thus generating a lot of scenarios of crowds.

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Civil aircraft trajectory analyses - impact of engine degradation on fuel burn and emissions [PDF]
Commercial aviation and air traffic is still expected to grow by 4-5% annually in the future and thus the effect of aircraft operation on the environment and its consequences for the climate change is a major concern for all parties involved in the ...
