Recent Advances in Cryogel Applications for Musculoskeleatal Regeneration

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hydrogels have been widely used in tissue engineering due to their high‐water content and biocompatibility, yet their densely cross‐linked microstructure inherently limits cell infiltration, mass transport, and mechanical support. Cryogels, formed through partial freezing and crosslinking under subzero conditions, provide unique 3D macroporous

Muscle‐Specific Kinase Signaling and Its Therapeutic Potential

open access: yesMuscle &Nerve, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The function of the neuromuscular junction (NMJ) is compromised in many neuromuscular diseases (NMDs) such as autoimmune or congenital myasthenia gravis (MG), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and muscular dystrophies.

Strigolactone signaling: Licensing antiviral RNA interference in rice

open access: yesNew Plant Protection, EarlyView.
Rice grassy stunt virus (RGSV) suppresses strigolactone‐mediated antiviral RNAi through P3‐D14 interaction. Structure‐guided D14D102N editing disrupts P3 binding while maintaining SL signaling, sustaining antiviral defense and providing strong resistance without compromising plant growth or yield.

Restoration, Not Bypass: Otoferlin Gene Therapy and a New Era in Hearing Loss Treatment

open access: yesOtolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, EarlyView.
Abstract The FDA approval of Otarmeni, an AAV‐based gene therapy for biallelic OTOF‐associated sensorineural hearing loss, represents a conceptual shift in otology: from bypassing defective auditory physiology to restoring it. Unlike cochlear implantation, which circumvents damaged sensory structures, OTOF gene replacement targets a synaptic deficit in
