Proceedings of the International Conference on Onomastics ”Name and Naming”Translations are not only carried out by qualified translators (e.g. unofficial subtitling, news translated by journalists or bloggers). The lack of knowledge of translation studies and onomastics may easily lead to incorrect translations of proper names.
