Triglyceride-glucose index in adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus
Even though HbA1c can be obtained easily and accurately by blood test, the cost may limit its availability for some patients and their proper follow-up. The triglyceride-glucose index has been shown to have an association with HbA1c in other populations, but it hasn't been studied in adolescents with T1DM yet.

The schematic diagram illustrates the roles of novel immune checkpoints, immunomodulatory factors, cell death and multimodal technologies in cancer immunotherapy. Abstract Cancer immunotherapy has redefined cancer treatment. However, the molecular and cellular basis of immune evasion and therapeutic resistance remains incompletely understood.

Association between triglyceride glucose index and depression in hypertensive population
AbstractGrowing evidence suggests that hypertensive individuals have a greater risk of developing depression, and depression can also increase the incidence of hypertension. In the hypertensive population, the association between triglyceride glucose (TyG) index and depression remains unclear.

We demonstrate that Cars2, a cysteine catabolic enzyme in mouse iBAT, is critical for cold tolerance and brown adipocyte differentiation. Through its CPERS activity, Cars2 produces CysSSH/H2S to induce EBF2 persulfidation, promoting its interaction with PPARγ and BRG1 to enhance thermogenic gene expression.

GPX4 Inhibitor Resistance and Metastatic Features in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer
This study establishes breast cancer cell lines that are resistant to glutathione peroxidase 4 inhibitors (GPX4i) in vitro and investigates the metastatic capacity of the GPX4i‐resistant versus parental lines in vivo. GPX4i‐resistant cells survive upon intravenous injection, but lose capacity to spontaneously metastasize.

Hepatic Glycogen Storage Diseases in Brazil: A Multicenter Study
ABSTRACT To describe clinical and laboratory characteristics, emphasizing the evolution of patients with hepatic glycogen storage diseases (GSDs) followed in Brazilian reference centers. Multicenter, retrospective study involving 13 centers, using RedCap platform. 132 patients were included: 63 (47.8%) GSD type I (56 Ia, 7 Ib), 13 (9.8%) with type III (
