Structural Studies of Trisaccharide of Leptaculatin
Journal of Carbohydrate Chemistry, 1994Abstract Leptatriose (2), a novel trisaccharide, was obtained from acid hydrolysate of Leptaculatin (1), isolated from Leptadenia reticulata. On the basis of physico-chemical results, the structure of 2 was established as O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (1>4)-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (1>4)-β-d-cymaropyranose.

Abstract The separation and structural analysis of 21 trisaccharides as their permethylated trisaccharide alditols by gas-liquid chromatography (g.l.c.) and gas-liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (g.l.c.-m.s.) is described. Most of the alditol derivatives could be separated from one another by g.l.c. with SE-30 or OV-22 stationary phases.

A NEW FERULOYLATED TRISACCHARIDE FROM BAGASSE
Chemistry Letters, 1983Abstract O-(5-O-Feruloyl-α-l-arabinofuranosyl)-(1→3)-O-β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1→4)-d-xylopyranose (I) was isolated from the enzymatic hydrolysate of bagasse lignin–carbohydrate complex containing ferulic acid (LCC-F) and identified from I.R., U.V., G.L.C.-M.S., and N.M.R. spectra.

Fucosido‐lactose, das Trisaccharid der Frauenmilch
Chemische Berichte, 1955AbstractDie Anordnung der Bausteine ist > D‐Glucose > D‐Galaktose > L‐Fucose, Nach partieller Säurehydrolyse ließ sich Lactose isolieren. Die Spaltung des permethylierten Trisaccharids lieferte 2.3.6‐Trimethyl‐D‐glucose, 3.4.6‐Trimethyl‐D‐galaktose und 2.3.4‐Trimethyl‐L‐fucose.

Unusual conformational behavior of trisaccharides containing N-acetylglucosamine
Carbohydrate Research, 2005Protected trisaccharides containing N-acetylglucosamine can adopt unexpected conformations through the formation of hydrogen bonds involving the amide group. This conformational behavior was observed by NMR spectroscopy when three protected trisaccharides were dissolved in deuterated chloroform and to a lesser extent in deuterated dichloromethane.

Synthesis and cytotoxicity of oleanolic acid trisaccharide saponins
Carbohydrate Research, 2017An array of oleanolic acid-type saponins based on β-hederin has been synthesized in a linear or one-pot manner. The cell viability assays indicate that synthetic saponins show antiproliferation activities in three cancer cell lines with IC50 values of 2.4-15.1 μM and hederacolchiside A1 being the most potent.

Synthesis of a carboxyl linker containing Pk trisaccharide
Carbohydrate Research, 2005An efficient synthesis of a Pk trisaccharide with a functionalized side arm at the reducing end for conjugation to other molecules is presented. Construction of the Pk trisaccharide with a high alpha-selectivity was achieved in high yield by coupling a reactive galactosyl phosphite donor with a lactosyl acceptor.

Formation of trisaccharides (kestoses) by pyrolysis of sucrose
Carbohydrate Research, 1991Amorphous sucrose, containing citric acid as catalyst, undergoes thermolysis at 100 degrees to yield fructofuranosyl cation and D-glucose. The cation reacts with unchanged sucrose to form all three of the known kestoses, and also their alpha-fructofuranosyl anomers. Two of the latter are resistant to invertase hydrolysis.

Regioselective syntheses of trehalose-containing trisaccharides using various glycohydrolases
Carbohydrate Research, 1990Two methods were investigated for the enzymic preparation of trehalose-containing trisaccharides. In the first, a solution of saccharides is circulated through an immobilized-glycosidase column and an activated-carbon column connected in series. In the second, two enzymes having different substrate specificities are sequentially used for condensation ...
