Lactose- and cellobiose-derived branched trisaccharides and a sucrose-containing trisaccharide produced by acceptor reactions of Weissella confusa dextransucrase

Food Chemistry, 2016
Dextran-producing Weissella have received significant attention. However, except for maltose, the acceptor reactions of Weissella dextransucrases with different sugars have not been investigated. The action of recombinant Weissella confusa VTT E-90392 dextransucrase was tested with several potential acceptors, particularly, analogs lactose and ...

Capillary column gas chroamtography of trifluoroacetyl trisaccharides

Journal of Chromatography A, 1985
Abstract Relative retention times are reported for thirteen trifluoroacetyl trisaccharides (3-O-β-cellobiosyl- d -glucose, cellotriose, 3-O-α-isomaltosyl- d -glucose, isomaltotriose, isopanose, 1-kestose, 4-O-β-laminaribiosyl- d -glucose, laminaritriose, maltotriose, melezitose, panose, raffinose, and xylotriose) subjected to gas chromatography on a ...

Conformational analysis of trisaccharides. An MM3 study

Journal of Molecular Structure: THEOCHEM, 1994
Abstract The biologically significant substrate I was studied computationally by MM3. We report the preference of the exoanomeric conformation for the glycosidic bond and present geometrical parameters around the interannular linkages.

Serum and urinary trisaccharides in mannosidosis.

Neurology, 1981
A trisaccharide, Man2glcNAc, was the most abundant urinary oligosaccharide (161-558 mumol per liter) in a patient with mannosidosis. By means of a newly developed high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) procedure, we were able to measure low levels of serum trisaccharide (0.1--0.4 nmol per milliliter). This is the first report of the measurements
