Zinc Exposure Causes Disulfidptosis to Induce Miscarriage by Up‐Regulating GATA1/METTL1/SLC7A11 Axis
Zn exposure up‐regulates GATA1, promoting GATA1‐mediated METTL1 and SLC7A11 transcription. It also enhances METTL1‐mediated m7G modification on SLC7A11 mRNA, increasing SLC7A11 mRNA stability. Ultimately, Zn exposure up‐regulates SLC7A11 at both transcriptional and post‐transcriptional levels, causing disulfidptosis. Knockdown of murine Slc7a11, Gata1,

Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.

BACKGROUND Lead is able to pass through the placental barrier and interfere with fetal development. Red fruit has high antioxidant activity, due to carotenoids (pro-vitamin A), tocopherols (vitamin E) and unsaturated fatty acids.

Remodeling of the uterine spiral arteries during pregnancy transforms them from high to low resistance vessels that lack vasoconstrictive properties. This process is essential to meet the demand for increased blood flow imposed by the growing fetus. Loss

Placental Site Trophoblastic Tumor Acquires Immune Functions by Incorporating Host Maternal Genes
PSTT cells, through cell fusion with B cells, incorporate abundant non‐inherited maternal genes that are detectable by DNIMA. These hybrid cells acquire immunotherapy‐resistant genetic changes and increase the expression of B cell‐derived immune‐related molecules such as Ig, HLA, LILRB, SIGLEC10, and so on, creating an immunotolerant environment around

Effects of estradiol on HIF-1α expression and trophoblast differentiation in first trimester villous explant cultures [PDF]
ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of estradiol on the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-1α and the differentiation of trophoblasts in human first trimester villous explant cultures.MethodsVillous explant ...

Whilst S100P has been shown to be a marker for carcinogenesis, we have shown, in non-physio-pathological states, that its expression promotes trophoblast motility and invasion but the mechanisms explaining these cellular processes are unknown.

Trophoblasts, invasion, and microRNA [PDF]
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have recently become essential actors in various fields of physiology and medicine, especially as easily accessible circulating biomarkers, or as modulators of cell differentiation. To this respect, terminal differentiation of trophoblasts (the characteristic cells of the placenta in Therian mammals) into syncytiotrophoblast, villous

We present a novel AI‐integrated implantation‐on‐chip platform that enables mimicking and monitoring the maternal–fetal interactions at the early phases of human embryo implantation with high spatiotemporal resolution. The complexity of the trophoblast invasion process was addressed by conducting the analysis at global (rate of invasion) and local ...
