Analytic double-soft integrated subtraction terms for two massive emitters in a back-to-back kinematics

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We consider the double-soft limit of QCD amplitudes with two massive quarks in a back-to-back kinematics accompanied by two soft partons. We integrate analytically the respective double-soft eikonal functions over the phase space of the two soft partons.

Higgs decay into massive b-quarks at NNLO QCD in the nested soft-collinear subtraction scheme

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We present a fully differential description of a decay of a scalar Higgs boson into massive b-quarks valid at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in perturbative quan- tum chromodynamics (QCD). We work within the nested soft-collinear subtraction scheme

Autoimmune thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) associated with COVID-19

open access: yesAnnals of Hematology, 2020
Dear Editor: A 57-year-old woman with a history of hypertension and breast cancer in complete remission was seen in lateMarch 2020 at the emergency ward in a private clinic with dry cough, anosmia, and dysgeusia.

RNA-binding protein ZFP36/TTP protects against ferroptosis by regulating autophagy signaling pathway in hepatic stellate cells.

open access: yesAutophagy, 2019
Ferroptosis is a recently discovered form of programmed cell death, but its regulatory mechanisms remain poorly understood. Here, we show that the RNA-binding protein ZFP36/TTP (ZFP36 ring finger protein) plays a crucial role in regulating ferroptosis in

NNLO zero-jettiness beam and soft functions to higher orders in the dimensional-regularization parameter $$\epsilon $$ ϵ

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
We present the calculation of the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) zero-jettiness beam and soft functions, up to the second order in the expansion in the dimensional regularization parameter $$\epsilon $$ ϵ .

Clinical and laboratory diagnosis of TTP: an integrated approach.

open access: yesHematology. American Society of Hematology. Education Program, 2018
Thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpura (TTP) is a rare, life-threatening disease with an incidence of approximately 2 persons per million per year. It is characterized by severe deficiency of the von Willebrand cleaving protease, ADAMTS13 (a disintegrin and

A case of thrombotic microangiopathy and acute demyelinating central nervous system lesions as the first manifestation of systemic lupus erythematosus

open access: yesSri Lanka Journal of Medicine, 2021
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disorder with a relapsing and remitting course and multi- organ involvement which can present with a wide range of neuropsychiatric manifestations. Acute disseminating encephalomyelitis (ADEM) is

Resveratrol attenuates inflammation through tristetraprolin expression in human hepatocytes

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Biotechnology and Experimental Therapeutics, 2018
Resveratrol (Resv), a polyphenolic compound have the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Tristetraprolin (TTP) destabilizes mRNAs of pro-inflammatory cytokines. However, it was not clear how Resv exerts anti-inflammatory effects on hepatocytes. In

HUS and TTP in Children [PDF]

open access: yesPediatric Clinics of North America, 2013
This review describes the epidemiology, pathophysiology, presentation, clinical causes, treatment, and long-term prognosis of pediatric patients who present with thrombotic microangiopathy. The focus is on hemolytic uremic syndrome and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, the most common phenotypes of thrombotic microangiopathy.

TTP-like syndrome: novel concept and molecular pathogenesis of endotheliopathy-associated vascular microthrombotic disease

open access: yesThrombosis Journal, 2018
TTP is characterized by microangiopathic hemolytic anemia and thrombocytopenia associated with brain and kidney dysfunction. It occurs due to ADAMTS13 deficiency.
