Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis
Despite the efforts made worldwide to reduce the number of cases of drug-susceptible tuberculosis, multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) constitutes an important public health issue. Around 440,000 new cases of MDR-TB are estimated annually, although

Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis [PDF]
The ideal number of drugs needed and treatment duration are crucial issues in the management of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). Thus, we read with interest the Article by the Collaborative Group for the Meta-Analysis of Individual Patient Data in MDR-TB treatment–2017,1 the results of which support our proposal,2 from 2015, to classify anti ...

Abstract: The costs of multidrug‐resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) reach far beyond the cost of the clinical treatment of the patient. The first impact of the discovery of MDR TB in a population is the need to recognize that all TB patients have the potential of being MDR.

TBDLNet: a network for classifying multidrug-resistant and drug-sensitive tuberculosis [PDF]
This paper proposes applying a novel deep-learning model, TBDLNet, to recognize CT images to classify multidrug-resistant and drug-sensitive tuberculosis automatically. The pre-trained ResNet50 is selected to extract features. Three randomized neural networks are used to alleviate the overfitting problem.
