Transmission of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis
To compare the Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates of adult index cases with multidrug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis to the isolates obtained from their child contacts.A 4-year prospective study in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
