Molecular docking shows that ligands 8 (a–i) adopt a U‐shaped geometry in the InhA active site, enabling stronger interactions than 7 (j–r). Surprisingly, both sets display similar potency, indicating that factors like electronic effects or solvation also influence anti‐TB activity.

Synthesis of a Conformationally Fixed Bicyclomarin Derivative
The synthesis of a new bicyclic derivative of cyclomarin is described. Cyclomarin is a marine cyclopeptide with excellent antituberculosis activity. The synthesis of the linear heptapeptide and the two macrolactamizations proceed smoothly. Based on an X‐ray structure of cyclomarin bound to ClpC1, a new conformationally fixed, bicyclic cyclomarin ...

Rifamycin analogues with variably functionalized C‐3 extensions provide new insight into the role of this region for MTb inhibitory activity. In addition to potentially optimizing target engagement, this region can also be used to modulate physicochemical properties, an important consideration for optimizing antimycobacterial activity.

Itinerant curriculum theory: People's theory against the field's epistemicidal ethos
Abstract The field of curriculum studies suffers from a glaring theoretical impasse. Much of this impasse has been rightly attributed to the triumphalism of the neoliberal wave that has massacred the educational hemisphere with policies and practices that reduce pedagogy to an instrumentalist praxis directly associated with the thirsty desires and ...
