Pellet Printing for Soft Robotic Devices
Fused Granulate Fabrication (FGF) is established here as a reliable method for fabricating soft, airtight robotic devices. Through coordinated optimization of hardware, material selection, and process parameters, this approach enables high‐speed printing of thermoplastic elastomers with silicone‐like softness and modulus.

An interpretable fuzzy logic based data-driven model for the twin screw granulation process
In this research, a new framework based on fuzzy logic is proposed to model the twin screw granulation (TSG) process. First, various fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) having different structures are developed to define various rule bases.

Tailored granule properties using 3D printed screw geometries in twin screw granulation [PDF]
Twin screw granulation is becoming increasingly relevant due to its compact size, continuous and robust mode of operation, customizable design, and flexible production capacity. This work describes the experimental study undertaken to understand the dependence of granule properties on the screw element design in a twin screw granulator.

ABSTRACT This study examined whether enzymatic modification of soybean oil (SBO) can be tailored to produce trans‐free fats with physicochemical properties comparable to palm olein, stearin, or palm‐mid fractions (PMFs). US‐grown SBO was modified by lipase‐catalyzed acidolysis using palmitic acid at linearly interpolated substrate molar ratios (C16:0 ...

Scaling of Planar Sodium‐Nickel Chloride Battery Cells to 90 cm2 Active Area
Large planar Na β′′ alumina electrolytes are prepared by tape‐casting and die‐pressing. These ceramic electrolytes are used to prepare planar sodium‐nickel chloride cells with 90 cm2 active area, providing a high capacity of 7 Ah. Successful cell cycling is demonstrated at 300 °C at rates up to C/4 (20 mA cm−2) for a cumulative capacity of 3.6 Ah cm−2.
