Targeting thymidine phosphorylase alleviates resistance to dendritic cell immunotherapy in colorectal cancer and promotes antitumor immunity

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2022
T-cell exhaustion plays a pivotal role in the resistance of microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer (CRC) to immunotherapy. Identifying and targeting T-cell exhaustion-activating mechanisms is a promising strategy to augment the effects of immunotherapy.

Capecitabine efficacy is correlated with TYMP and RB expression in PDX established from triple-negative breast cancers. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
peer reviewedPURPOSE: triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) patients with residual disease after neoadjuvant chemotherapy have a poor outcome. We developed patient-derived xenografts (PDX) from residual tumors to identify efficient chemotherapies and ...

STING-driven interferon signaling triggers metabolic alterations in pancreas cancer cells visualized by [ 18 F]FLT PET imaging [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Type I interferons (IFNs) are critical effectors of emerging cancer immunotherapies designed to activate pattern recognition receptors (PRRs). A challenge in the clinical translation of these agents is the lack of noninvasive pharmacodynamic biomarkers ...

Integrating metabolomics and network pharmacology to assess the effects of quercetin on lung inflammatory injury induced by human respiratory syncytial virus

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
Quercetin (QR) has significant anti-respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) effects. However, its therapeutic mechanism has not been thoroughly explored. In this study, a lung inflammatory injury model caused by RSV was established in mice.

TYMP mRNA transcription in a panel of healthy human tissues.

open access: yes, 2014
The amount of TYMP mRNA has been reported ± SD. Bone marrow was used as a calibrator tissue. TYMP mRNA expression did not vary significantly in bone marrow, liver, and duodenal mucosa. No TYMP transcript was found in skeletal muscle.
