Mechanisms of Entry and Endosomal Pathway of African Swine Fever Virus

open access: yesVaccines, 2017
African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) causes a serious swine disease that is endemic in Africa and Sardinia and presently spreading in Russia and neighboring countries, including Poland and recently, the Czech Republic.

A protein cofactor is required for uncoating of clathrin baskets by uncoating ATPase.

open access: yesJournal of Biological Chemistry, 1993
Immediately after clathrin-coated pits pinch off from the cell membrane to form clathrin-coated vesicles, clathrin dissociates from the vesicles. In vitro studies suggest that this dissociation is carried out by the uncoating ATPase, a constitutive member of the 70-kDa heat shock family.

Structural studies on members of the picornavirus superfamily [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The pathogenic members of the picornavirus superfamily have adverse effects on humans, their crops and their livestock. As structure is related to function, detailed structural studies on these viruses are important not only for fundamental understanding

Nsp2 replicase-mediated viral uncoating in porcine alveolar macrophages contributes to the attenuation of PRRSV-2 live attenuated vaccine

open access: yesJournal of Virology
Type 2 porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV-2) poses a major threat to global swine production. While live attenuated vaccines (LAVs) remain the most effective countermeasure, the molecular mechanisms underlying PRRSV-2 attenuation ...

Adducin‐1 Facilitates Influenza Virus Endosomal Trafficking and Uncoating by Regulating Branched Actin Dynamics and Myosin IIB Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Science
Actin‐ and microtubule‐based transport systems are essential for the trafficking of endocytic viruses and cargoes. Microtubules facilitate long‐distance transport; however, the precise role of actin dynamics and its regulators during virus entry ...

Introduksi Genetika Molekular Virus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003

Evaluation of Fatigue Limit and Mechanism of Fatigue Crack Initiation of Epoxy Coatings used as Lining for Crude Oil Storage Tanks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, the fatigue performance of three types of epoxy coatings (pure, Novolac and reinforced by glass-flake) were studied in crude oils and air environments.
