An elastoplastic model approach for the relaxation dynamics of active glasses [PDF]
How activity affects the glassy dynamics is crucial for several biological processes. Furthermore, active glasses offer fascinating phenomenologies, extend the scope of equilibrium glasses, and can provide novel insights into the original problem. We introduce a family of novel approaches to investigating the relaxation dynamics of active glasses via ...

A Robust Generalization of the Active Subspace Method [PDF]
We introduce a new global sensitivity measure called global activity score. The new measure is obtained from the global active subspace method, similar to the way the activity score measure is obtained from the active subspace method. We present theoretical results on the relationship between Sobol' sensitivity indices and global activity scores.

The plasmin-antiplasmin system: structural and functional aspects [PDF]
The plasmin-antiplasmin system plays a key role in blood coagulation and fibrinolysis. Plasmin and α2-antiplasmin are primarily responsible for a controlled and regulated dissolution of the fibrin polymers into soluble fragments. However, besides plasmin(
