Photoactivatable Caged Prodrugs of VEGFR-2 Kinase Inhibitors [PDF]
In this study, we report on the design, synthesis, photokinetic properties and in vitro evaluation of photoactivatable caged prodrugs for the receptor tyrosine kinase VEGFR-2. Highly potent VEGFR-2 inhibitors 1 and 3 were caged by introduction of a photoremovable protecting group (PPG) to yield the caged prodrugs 4 and 5.

Generation and characterization of a human nanobody against VEGFR-2 [PDF]
Nanobody is an antibody fragment consisting of a single monomeric variable antibody domain, which can be used for a variety of biotechnological and therapeutic purposes. The aim of this work was to isolate and characterize a human signal domain antibody against VEGFR-2 domain3 (VEGFR D3) from a phage display library. To produce antigen-specific ...

VEGFR-2 Expression in Glioblastoma Multiforme Depends on Inflammatory Tumor Microenvironment
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is one of the most angiogenic tumors. However, antiangiogenic therapy has not shown significant clinical efficacy. The aim of our study was to evaluate the impact of inflammatory tumor microenvironment on the expression of ...

Molecular Docking Approach of Some Quinoxaline Derivatives as Anticancer Agents Targeting VEGFR-2. [PDF]
The vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) has a crucial role in the angiogenesis of cancer. The growth of tumors was effectively prevented by inhibiting the VEGFR-2 regulatory pathway.
