Developmental progression of VSG expression.
A. VSG expression data for a random subset of 50 pre-metacyclic cells, with a total VSG UMI count > 10. Data are raw (unscaled) UMI counts. Each column represents a cell and each colour a different VSG. B.

Synchronous generator-based power stations, with their inherent inertia, can maintain frequency stability during sudden load switching, while distributed generating station-driven microgrids suffer from a lack of natural inertia. Cascaded power, voltage,

Current-Limiting VSG for Renewable Energy Applications
In this paper, an improved nonlinear controller structure, which inherits both virtual inertia (VI) and current-limiting properties in grid-connected voltage-source converters (VSCs), is proposed. The proposed method inherits the V dc ~ ω droop control for inertia emulation and frequency control, and Q ~ V droop control for AC voltage support.

The impact of mutation and gene conversion on the local diversification of antigen genes in African trypanosomes [PDF]
Patterns of genetic diversity in parasite antigen gene families hold important information about their potential to generate antigenic variation within and between hosts.

State observer to improve the VSG control stability [PDF]
This paper proposes an observer-based current controller for a virtual synchronous generators (VSG) to improve its operational performances. First, the model and the controllers are analytically described. Two controller are compared to the proposed one (PI integrating a state observer): a traditional PI and a PI integrating virtual impedances for ...

Research of inverter parallel control based on improved parameter adaptive VSG
Virtual synchronous generators (VSG) technology is widely used in grid-connected and multi-machine parallel control strategies for inverter systems because of its ability to simulate synchronous generators and make distributed power sources also have ...
