Simultaneous Optimization of a Wheeled Mobile Robot Structure and a Control Parameter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A wheeled mobile mechanism with a passive and/or active linkage mechanism for traveling in the outdoor environment is developed and evaluated. In our previous research, we developed a wheeled mobile robot which has six wheels and a passive linkage ...

CRISPLD2 Attenuates Intervertebral Disc Degeneration by Suppressing Oxidative Stress‐Induced Ferroptosis through the miR‐548I‐IL17A Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies CRISPLD2 as a key protector against IVDD. By regulating ferroptosis through the CRISPLD2–miR‐548I–IL17A axis, CRISPLD2 maintains NPCs homeostasis and reduces oxidative stress. Restoring CRISPLD2 expression effectively alleviates disc degeneration and highlights a promising therapeutic strategy for discogenic low back pain ...

Semi‐Transparent Organic Photodiodes with Near‐Infrared Detection Fabricated by Inkjet Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work shows the inkjet printing of semi‐transparent and opaque organic photodiodes that enable light detection in the near‐infrared regime. Their transparency and high detection speed make them ideal for applications in soft robotics, wearable devices, and light communication systems.

Precision planter monitoring system based on mobile communication network

open access: yesIET Networks, EarlyView., 2022
Abstract Sowing is an important link in agricultural production and the basis for ensuring high yields and bumper harvests. Agriculture requires precision plows with good performance and stable work. However, the seeding process is in a completely closed state, and the operator relies mainly on experience to judge the operating state and performance of

Competing in the RoboCup Rescue Robot League [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
RoboCup Rescue is an international competition in which robots compete to find disaster victims in a simulated earthquake environment. It features both a Rescue Simulation League (RSL) which is entirely computer simulated, and a Rescue Robot League (RRL)

Extending Battery Usage Time of a Heavy‐Duty Mecanum‐Wheeled Autonomous Electric Vehicle Used in Iron–Steel Industry by Considering Wheel Slippage

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
It is a fact that slippage causes tracking errors in both longitudinal and lateral directions which results to have less travel distance in tracking a reference trajectory. Less travel distance means having energy loss of the battery and carrying loads less than planned.

Hybrid Control Design for a Wheeled Mobile Robot [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We present a hybrid systems solution to the problem of trajectory tracking for a four-wheel steered four-wheel driven mobile robot. The robot is modelled as a non-holonomic dynamic system subject to pure rolling, no-slip constraints. Under normal driving conditions, a non-linear trajectory tracking feedback control law based on dynamic feed-back ...
