Human-Machine Interface for water quality monitoring system of white-legged shrimp pond
2016 International Symposium on Electronics and Smart Devices (ISESD), 2016In general, this paper proposes the water quality monitoring system in white-legged shrimp ponds with the aim to improve production and cut the cost of maintenance. In particular, it addresses one of the main parts of the system, the HMI. HMI functions to receive data from the RPM measurement.

The need for better control of infectious diseases in shrimp aquaculture and the ecological importance of crustacea in marine ecosystems have prompted interest in the study of crustacean immune systems, particularly those of shrimp. As shrimp and other crustacea are poorly understood from the immunological point of view, functional genomic and ...

Effect of different dietary levels of plant protein on growth indexes of white Leg shrimp
2008The influence of different dietary levels of plant protein (30, 50 and 70%) on growth indices of White Leg Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) fed with an original 38 percent protein was assessed and compared with that of the commercial shrimp diet. The average weight gain at the end of the culture period in treatment 1 (30% plant protein and 70% animal ...
