Advances in research on layered double hydroxides for biomedical applications
Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) are pH‐responsive nanomaterials with broad biomedical applications. This review summarizes LDH synthesis methods and compares their advantages. It highlights LDHs' progress in cancer therapy, including chemo‐photothermal, chemo‐immunotherapy, and photodynamic‐immunotherapy combinations and their potential in bone repair.

A Multi‐Sequence Adversarial Fusion U‐Net for Brain Tumor Image Segmentation
In the field of brain tumor image segmentation, in order to avoid the impact of insufficient number of training samples, the method of fusing multi‐modal MRI information before segmentation is widely used. However, when fusing different modal features, existing methods only add fixed weights to the features of each modality, resulting in insufficient ...

ABSTRACT Nationwide prospective data on the clinical management of cutaneous angiosarcoma in Japan are lacking. We analyzed 3 years of data from the Japan Skin Cancer Registry Study, a registry involving 86 institutions. Analyses were restricted to the 335 patients registered at least 12 months before the follow‐up data cutoff, a criterion independent ...

Machine Learning‐Based Screening for Osteonecrosis of the Jaw in Panoramic Radiographs
ABSTRACT Background Osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) is a serious condition associated mainly with antiresorptive therapy and maxillofacial radiotherapy. As detection of its radiographic findings may facilitate patient referral, this study aimed to develop convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for ONJ screening in panoramic radiographs (OPGs).
