Ground states of critical and supercritical problems of Brezis-Nirenberg type
We study the existence of symmetric ground states to the supercritical problem \[ -\Delta v=\lambda v+\left\vert v\right\vert ^{p-2}v\text{ \ in }\Omega,\qquad v=0\text{ on }\partial\Omega, \] in a domain of the form \[ \Omega=\{(y,z)\in\mathbb{R}^{k+1 ...

Expression of WW Domain-Containing Oxidoreductase WOX1 in Human Nervous System Tumors
Background and ObjectiveS: We aimed to evaluate the expression levels of the tumor suppressor WOX1 in nervous system tumors and its co-expression with p53 and neurofibromatosis type 2/merlin (NF2) tumor suppressor gene products.

On Exact Multi-fractal Spectrum of the Whole-Plane SLE
We consider the whole-plane Shramm-Loewner evolution. Using exact solutions of fundamental equations for moments of derivative of conformal mappings we determine its average integral means beta-spectrum.Comment: Significantly updated version. arXiv admin

Soybean employs its circadian clock, governed by GmCCA1, to rhythmically defend against soybean cyst nematodes. The pathogen retaliates by secreting the effector Hg4E02, which hijacks the clock to suppress defense and co‐opt the host's translation machinery for nutrient acquisition.

Beyond growth signaling: apoptotic sensor MERTK activates AKT by a novel mechanism
Canonically the oncogenic kinase AKT is activated by growth signals. Our work suggests apoptotic materials, abundant in tumors, also contribute to AKT activation by stimulating MERTK that in turn phosphorylates Y26 in the AKT PH domain.

The rise and fall of the fourth quark-lepton generation
The existence of the fourth quark-lepton generation is not excluded by the electroweak precision data. However, the recent results on the 126 GeV higgs boson production and decay do not allow an extra generation at least as far as the perturbation theory

Lysosome‐targeting chimeras (LYTACs) enable degradation of extracellular and membrane proteins via lysosomal trafficking. We report a novel IGF‐II mutant (Del1–7, Y27L) that selectively engages IGF‐IIR while avoiding IGF‐IR and IR‐A. mutIGF‐II–based LYTACs enhance target internalization and degradation and support a genetically encodable, all‐protein ...

Loss of Wwox drives metastasis in triple-negative breast cancer by JAK2/STAT3 axis
In breast cancer, the loss of expression of WW domain-containing oxireductase (Wwox) has been observed. Here, the authors illustrate that in triple negative breast cancer models Wwox suppresses metastasis and proliferation via the JAK2/STAT3 pathway.

3D Chromatin Architecture Provides Insights Into Leaf Trait Variation Among Pear Species
ABSTRACT Three‐dimensional (3D) chromatin architecture plays a fundamental role in eukaryotic gene regulations, its functional significance in perennial fruit trees remains poorly characterized despite extensive applications in crop genomics. Here, we developed high‐resolution (∼5 kb) Hi‐C maps of Pyrus and compared 3D genomic architecture of three ...
