Processing of XFEL Data

2017
The introduction of the X-ray laser to crystallography, and its impact on the types of crystallographic experiments being performed as described in the previous chapter, has meant that new data processing strategies had to be found. While some XFEL crystallography experiments approach the conventional methods quite closely, even those are not without ...

Design of the PAL XFEL

Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2007
The Pohang Accelerator Laboratory is going to build an X-ray free electron laser (FEL) based on self-amplified spontaneous emission (SASE). This new machine will utilize the existing 2.5-GeV injection linac to the storage ring by upgrading its energy up to 3.7 GeV or more.
