ZO-1 represents a critical component for cone rearrangement in RP retina.
Whole-mounts for M-opsin (red) and ZO-1 (green) immunohistochemical staining in P50 RP retinas treated with non-targeted siRNA (A-D) and ZO-1 siRNA (25uM, E-H) for 24 hrs.

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for

ZO-1 expression between cones and Müller cell processes are sufficient for the maintenance of rings.
Confocal micrographs of whole-mounts processed for M-opsin immunohistochemical staining in non-targeted siRNA for 24 hr (A), ZO-1 siRNA treated for 24 hr (25uM, B) at P50. ZO-1 siRNA treated RP retinas show disruption of M-opsin cone rings in 24 hrs. The

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...

Differential expression and localization of tight junction proteins in the goat epididymis
The blood-epididymis barrier (BEB) forms a unique microenvironment that is crucial for the maturation, protection, transport, and storage of spermatozoa in the epididymis.

Hemodynamic regulation of occludin and ZO-1: effect on barrier function [PDF]
The vascular endothelium constitutes a highly effective fluid and solute barrier through the regulated apposition of tight junction protein complexes between adjacent endothelial cells.

ZO-1 localisation at the tight junctions is disrupted by PAF and restored by BML-111.
Composite X/Y confocal images of H441 polarised monolayers untreated (control) or treated with P. aeruginosa filtrate (PAF) for 24h or PAF + 200 nmol/L BML-111 (BML) immunostained for (A) ZO-1 (red).

Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

ZO-1 protein redistribution at 24 and 48 h p.i., in DENV infected MBECs.
ZO-1 fluorescence pattern (green) in both barrier models infected with DENV-4 and D4MB-6 virus strains were evaluated one, and two days post infection. DENV-4 parental virus infection at 24 h p.i.

A shape‐memory microneedle system enables reproductive hormone therapy through a single transdermal insertion. The X‐shaped device sustains follicle‐stimulating hormone release for three days, and mild heating restores the O shape to trigger burst human chorionic gonadotropin release.
