Uridine Diphosphate Glucose Dehydrogenase
5-Hydroxyuridine diphosphate glucose was prepared enzymatically and 5,6-dihydrouridine diphosphate glucose was prepared by the catalytic reduction of UDP-glucose. The effectiveness of these cofactor analogues as substrates for UDP-glucose dehydrogenase was determined.

Uridine Diphosphate-4-Keto-Glucose, an Intermediate in the Uridine Diphosphate-Galactose-4-Epimerase Reaction [PDF]
When UDP-galactose 4-epimerase (EC 5.1.3.2) from Escherichia coli is incubated with UDP-galactose, then reduced with NaB 3 H 4 , label is found in UDP-glucose and UDP-galactose.

Uridine Diphosphate Glucose Pyrophosphorylase
Abstract The crystalline enzyme uridine diphosphate glucose pyrophosphorylase from calf liver has been shown to be polydisperse. The more rapidly sedimenting components that are present have been shown to be multimers of the basic pyrophosphorylase molecule.

Uridine Diphosphate Glucose Pyrophosphorylase in Dictyostelium discoideum
Abstract The conditions for stabilization of the enzyme uridine disphosphate glucose pyrophosphorylase in crude extracts of Dictyostelium discoideum have been characterized. The dramatic increase in the activity of this enzyme during development, observed previously and confirmed here, is shown to be real and not due to differential instability in ...

Uridine Diphosphate Glucose Pyrophosphorylase
Abstract Uridine diphosphate glucose pyrophosphorylase, upon incubation with uridine diphosphate glucose or uridine triphosphate, forms a complex which is stable to Sephadex chromatography. Both the uridine portion of uridine triphosphate or uridine diphosphate glucose and the inorganic pyrophosphate or glucose portion of each molecule migrate with the

Identification of sucrose synthase from Micractinium conductrix to favor biocatalytic glycosylation
Sucrose synthase (SuSy, EC 2.4.1.13) is a unique glycosyltransferase (GT) for developing cost-effective glycosylation processes. Up to now, some SuSys derived from plants and bacteria have been used to recycle uridine 5′-diphosphate glucose in the ...
