Dumbbell‐Structured Plasmonic‐Enhanced Optical Nanoprobes Boosting Photo‐Magnetic‐Acoustic Multimodal Imaging‐Guided Photodynamic‐Photothermal Synergistic Treatment and Immunogenic Death in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports a novel rationally‐designed optical nanoprobe based on dumbbell‐shaped mesoporous silica‐coated gold nanorods, loaded with rare‐earth oxides, photosensitizers, and tumor‐targeted peptides, enabling plasmonic‐enhanced multimodal imaging and PTT‐PDT synergy.

Challenges and new prospects in hepatosplenic γδ T-cell lymphoma. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs) are a heterogeneous group of lymphoid neoplasms characterized by aggressive clinical behavior and dismal prognosis.

Paternal Caffeine Exposure Programs Offspring Stress Vulnerability via Sperm Dlk1‐Dio3 Imprinting‐Directed Remodeling of a Novel Neural Circuit

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study elucidates that paternal preconception stress can drive offspring hyperresponsivity of the stress system via hypomethylation of a specific DNA region in sperm. This key link is confirmed in a cohort of prospective fathers: the epigenetic alteration is associated with elevated stress hormone levels.

Control of CD4+ T cell responses by γδ T-APCs [PDF]

open access: yes
Human Vγ9Vδ2 T cells constitute a novel type of APC (γδ T-APCs) capable of stimulating CD4+ T cell responses. The outcome of γδ T-APC induced CD4+ T cell responses in terms of cytokine profiles, and the physiological implications for infection and ...

Baseline γδ-T cell characteristics in 46 CD patients.

open access: yes, 2013
A) Of the 46 CD patients, 35 (76%) had a γδ-T cell level comparable to healthy volunteers, while 11 (24%) had a level ranging from 5 to 15% (left). The γδ-T cell level correlated with the expression of the Vδ2 subunit (middle), and the γδ-T cell levels ...

Deciphering human γδ T cell response in cancer: Lessons from tumor-infiltrating γδ T cells

open access: yes, 2020
The finding that γδ T cells are present among tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes in humans suggests they participate in tumor immune surveillance, but their relevance is unclear because the relative abundance of tumor-infiltrating γδ T cells correlates with ...

A Humanized Anti‐gD Broadly Neutralizing Antibody Confers Complete Post‐Exposure Protection against Pseudorabies Virus

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pseudorabies virus (PRV), an emerging zoonotic α‐herpesvirus, causes life‐threatening human encephalitis. We identified a broad‐spectrum neutralizing antibody 6F7 targeting PRV gD. It blocks gD‐Nectin‐1 binding and membrane fusion, inhibiting replication across all PRV variants, representing a promising candidate for anti‐PRV therapy.

Characterization of Tumor-Infiltrating γδ TCR Repertoires in Human Solid Tumors Using a Low-Input, Sorting-Free Approach

open access: yes
γδ T cells play a crucial role in tumor immunity, yet their tumor-infiltrating TCR-repertoire remains poorly characterized across different cancer types.

Structural biology of γδ T cell receptors [PDF]

open access: yes
T cell receptor (TCR) diversity underpins cellular immunity. While αβ TCRs have been extensively studied in the context of major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-restricted antigen recognition, the γδ TCR system remains underexplored.

Beyond d‐Band Catalysis: A Critical Review and Descriptor Framework for Rare‐Earth Engineering in Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Rare‐earth catalysts regulate lithium–sulfur battery chemistry through f‐orbital–mediated interactions, enabling simultaneous polysulfide adsorption and catalytic conversion on conductive carbon hosts. This synergistic control suppresses the shuttle effect, accelerates redox kinetics, and guides stable Li2S nucleation, providing a mechanistic framework
