Synthetic, structural and biological studies of organosilicon(IV) complexes of Schiff bases derived from pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Selected new organosilicon(IV) complexes having the general formula R2SiCl[L] and R2Si[L] 2 were synthesized by the reactions of Me2SiCl2 with Schiff bases (5-mercapto-4-[(1H-pyrrol-2ylmethylene)amino]-s-triazole, 5-mercapto-3-methyl-4-[(1H-pyrrol ...

Antidepressant activity of 4-amino-5-(alkyl-, aryl-, heteryl)-1,2,4-triazole-3-thione benzylidene derivatives

open access: yesAktualʹnì Pitannâ Farmacevtičnoï ì Medičnoï Nauki ta Praktiki, 2018
The current market for antidepressants has a number of limitations, they have a high probability of development of adverse reactions, have low latitude and stability of the therapeutic effect, and also have a long latent period of action.

Thermal Rearrangement of Allyl Substituted Unsymmetric 4H-1,2,4-Triazoles to the Corresponding 1H-1,2,4-triazoles

open access: yesMolecules, 2001
A series of neat 4-(2-alkenyl) substituted 5-methyl-3-phenyl-4H-1,2,4-triazoles were thermolyzed at 320 oC producing a rearrangement products, of which the regioisomeric 1- and 2-substituted triazoles were the main products.

Photoinduced HS state in the first spin-crossover chain containing a cyanocarbanion as bridging ligand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A new polymeric approach, based on cyanocarbanion ligands, for the design of spin crossover (SCO) compounds led us to the compound [Fe(abpt)2(tcpd)] (1) (tcpd^2 = (C[C(CN)2|3)^2 , abpt = 4-amino-3,5-bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole) which has been ...

Syntheses, Characterization and Biological Activity of Some 1, 2, 4‐Triazole Derivatives [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, 2009
Syntheses of a series of 3‐alkyl‐4‐ amino‐5‐ cyanomethyl‐4H‐1, 2, 4‐triazoles with active methylene groups are described. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized by spectral and elemental analyses. Some compounds were screened for their antibacterial activity against S. aureus, E. coli, B. subtilis and P. aeruginosa.
