Induction of 8,5'-cyclo-2'-deoxyadenosine and 8,5'-cyclo-2'-deoxyguanosine in isolated DNA by Fenton-type reagents. [PDF]
Exposure of aqueous solutions of DNA to X- or γ-rays, which induces the hydroxyl radical as one of the major reactive oxygen species (ROS), can result in the generation of a battery of single-nucleobase and bulky DNA lesions. These include the (5'R) and (

Ionizing radiation induces DNA damage, including characteristic clusters and tandem lesions e.g., 5',8-cyclo-2'-deoxyPurines (cdPus). Clustered DNA Lesions (CDL) defined as 2 or more lesions within 1-2 helical turns resulting from a single radiation ...

Is the Contralateral Delay Activity (CDA) a robust neural correlate for Visual Working Memory (VWM) tasks? A reproducibility study [PDF]
Visual working memory (VWM) allows us to actively store, update and manipulate visual information surrounding us. While the underlying neural mechanisms of VWM remain unclear, contralateral delay activity (CDA), a sustained negativity over the hemisphere contralateral to the positions of visual items to be remembered, is often used to study VWM.

Reactions of reactive oxygen species and more specifically - of hydroxyl radical ((*)OH) - with nucleosides may lead to the generation of radicals in the base and 2-deoxyribose moieties.

Constrained Detecting Arrays: Mathematical Structures for Fault Identification in Combinatorial Interaction Testing [PDF]
Context: Detecting arrays are mathematical structures aimed at fault identification in combinatorial interaction testing. However, they cannot be directly applied to systems that have constraints among test parameters. Such constraints are prevalent in real-world systems.

The hydroxyl radical is a powerful oxidant that generates DNA lesions including the stereoisomeric R and S 5′,8-cyclo-2′-deoxyadenosine (cdA) and 5′,8-cyclo-2′-deoxyguanosine (cdG) pairs that have been detected in cellular DNA.

Consecutive Detecting Arrays for Interaction Faults [PDF]
The concept of detecting arrays was developed to locate and detect interaction faults arising between the factors in a component-based system during software testing. In this paper, we propose a family of consecutive detecting arrays (CDAs) in which the interactions between factors are considered to be ordered.

Oxidatively generated damage to DNA frequently appears in the human genome as the effect of aerobic metabolism or as the result of exposure to exogenous oxidizing agents such as ionization radiation.

Uniqueness of Steady Navier-Stokes under Large Data by Continuous Data Assimilation [PDF]
We propose a continuous data assimilation (CDA) method to address the uniqueness problem for steady Navier-Stokes equations(NSE). The CDA method incorporates spatial observations into the NSE, and we prove that with sufficient observations, the CDA-NSE system is well-posed even for large data where multiple solutions may exist.

OpenCDA:An Open Cooperative Driving Automation Framework Integrated with Co-Simulation [PDF]
Although Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA) has attracted considerable attention in recent years, there remain numerous open challenges in this field. The gap between existing simulation platforms that mainly concentrate on single-vehicle intelligence and CDA development is one of the critical barriers, as it inhibits researchers from validating and ...
